Miracle Treat Day Returns on July 31st to Support KU Medical Center

DQ® is Bringing Hope to Kids at The University of Kansas Medical Center

Dairy Queen is helping change kids’ health and bringing hope at The University of Kansas Medical Center, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

On Thursday, July 31, participating DQ® locations are giving back to support children’s healthcare in our community. $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating DQ® locations will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Through these donations, The University of Medical Center can provide important pediatric programs and services, research, and direct assistance to families.

Patients like Kate are proof of the difference your support makes. Born at The University of Kansas Health System and cared for in the NICU, Kate’s journey began with love and support. As she grew, she faced challenges like stealth dyslexia, ADHD, and Cold Urticaria — a rare allergy to the cold. Thanks to ongoing therapies and medical care, she’s now a thriving straight-A student, competitive soccer player, and dreams of becoming a pediatrician.

The DQ® brand has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for over 40 years and has raised more than $1.2 million locally for The University of Kansas Medical Center. Their support has brought joy and hope to kids treated in the hospital in numerous ways — these donations have helped fund pediatric programs and services, research, treatments, and direct assistance for families.
