CMN of Greater KC Welcomes New Team Member, Lorna Walker!

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our team, Lorna Walker.  Lorna is our new

Family Services Coordinator and will be working part-time in both the Kansas City and Prairie Village clinics to help assist families who are in need of additional resources for their child.  She will also be

talking to families about CMN, the services we provide and how they can get their families more

involved.

Lorna is not a new face to Children’s Miracle Network here in Kansas City, as her son, Preston, is our Kansas City Miracle Child this year.  She will bring a personal level to this position that only a family who has experienced the roller-coaster of emotions that comes with having a child with significant medical challenges knows.  Lorna will be able to share that understanding and compassion with families in the clinic and help direct them to the resources they need.

While she will wear her CMN hat while she is in the clinic setting, she will continue to represent our office at special events and during campaigns with her family as a Miracle Mom.  Please help us welcome Lorna!
