Be More Monday – Steve Snook
Happy #BeMoreMonday Kansas City! We are happy to introduce you to this week’s Miracle Maker, Steve Snook. Steve has been a supporter of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for over 10 years through his work with RE/MAX Mid-States and Dixie Region!
Since 1992, RE/MAX has raised over $1.8 million for sick and injured kids in our community.
When Steve isn’t making miracles, you can find him in the Colorado Rocky Mountains finding some peace on a good hike, or spending quality time around a campfire. If he can’t be in the mountains, he still loves to be outdoors. Whether it’s grilling, golfing, or just hanging out on the farm, Steve enjoys the time in the fresh air, especially when he can share that time with his wife, Sara.
When we asked Steve to share about some of his favorite things, he listed some TV shows like Hell on Wheels, Longmire or American Pickers, and – like any good Kansas Citian, the Chiefs and the Royals…but he came back to his family, including his dog, Max. Steve’s absolute favorite thing is to spend time with his family – kids and grandson.
Steve’s daughter, Andrea, was born weighing just 1lb 10oz, and while she is blind Steve noted lovingly that “she sees more than most”.
Steve is passionate about CMN because he knows the importance of helping kids that cannot help themselves. He noted that these kids don’t choose to be in the situation they are dealing with, and when people step up to help it truly brings out the best in our community. He did remind us, “The kids are doing all of the heavy lifting. We are just there for support.”
Steve, we want to thank you for all you do for Children’s Miracle Network and the kids we have the honor to support.
