Be More Monday – Jackson Mores

On this sunny #MiracleMonday, we would like to introduce you to Jackson Mores! Jackson has served as the Executive Director of the University of Kansas Medical Center Miracle Makers but has been an avid Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals supporter for 8 years! Initially participating in Dance Marathon at Iowa State University, Jackson’s passion for CMNH is all about the kids! When he came to KU Medical Center for his Masters in Public Health and as a physical therapy student he wanted to stay involved. He served as the Executive Director of the new CMNH organization, “KUMC Miracle Makers”.

When asked why he chooses to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Jackson shares, “Without a doubt, my favorite thing about Children’s Miracle Network is the direct impact it has on the families and kids. I’ve seen the smiles, relief, and pure joy Children’s Miracle Network can bring to people. But most importantly, CMN treats the miracle kids like the superheroes they truly are. These are the kids that display immense courage, have fighting spirits, triumph over challenges, and inspire the next generation. It is so incredibly cool seeing the elation that Children’s Miracle Network can bring to them and their families…I’ve been hooked on Children’s Miracle Network and will always be an advocate for their work and community impact.”

When he’s not helping make miracles for local families, you can find Jackson playing board games and card games with his friends and family, or outside golfing, playing volleyball or exploring a National Park with his wife!

Fun fact about Jackson, he was briefly featured on an episode of the PBS Kids TV Show “Zoom” in 2001. He is also a three-time grand champion cherry pie maker at the Shelby County, Iowa fair!
