2017 highlights for CMNH of Kansas City | KU Medical Center Pediatrics
Here are just a few of the many 2017 highlights at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Kansas City .
- Kansas City –CMNH had several radio stations from Cumulus Media give significant support to “Miracle Treat Day” with drive time on-air interviews and social media posts. Interviews featured both KC area Miracle Kids and DQ store owners.
- Kansas City is a test markets for the CMNH launch of the “My Miracle Birthday” initiative. The campaign will be supported in 2018 on 95.7 -The Vibe with on-air promotion and social media.
- CMNH-Kansas City was selected as the ONE market in the country to host the NASCAR “Racing For A Miracle” promotion at Kansas Speedway. KU Medical Center Pediatrics had the opportunity for a $1,000,000 donation if NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez had won the race. Daniel gave it a great effort, but finished out of the winners circle. KU Medical Center Pediatrics still received a very generous donation from Ace Hardware and Stanley Tools. This incredible promotion received significant national exposure in numerous publications, including USA Today.
- The 2017 X105.1 “Pay for Play” doubled their donations raised. X105.1 plans to lend significant support to the CMNH-Kansas City Extra Life program in 2018.
- Cumulus Media set up a private screening of Cars 3 with Cinetopia for CMNH-KC families in the area .
