Westco Lube Kicks Off CMN Campaign

Westco Lube employees came together on the KU Medical Center campus on Thursday, October 31st to kick-off their annual CMN fundraising campaign.  It was a fun event, with many best practices being shared and CMN family stories being the highlight of the day.

Westco Lube, which is a local, Kansas City-based operator of Valvoline Instant Oil Change, has participated in the CMN Miracle Balloon Campaign for more than 10 years.  In 2018, their 18 locations raised $12,466.  With the addition of 3 new locations since their last campaign, they are ready and eager to raise even more this year!  Their campaign runs from November 1-30, where employees will be asking customers to donate to CMN at KU Medical Center while they are having service done on their vehicles.  Additionally, on November 22, the locations will be hosting Miracle Oil Change Day, where $1 of every oil change will be donated to CMN the entire day.  So be sure to get to your closest Valvoline and get your oil changed before you hit the road for your Thanksgiving travel plans!

To round out the event, the team learned that they won the award for Operator of the Year!  We can’t think of a more deserving and hard-working group for this award.  From each of us at CMN, Congratulations to everyone at Westco Lube!!
