Have Turkeys, will Travel. Thanks Traveling Turkeys!

For several of our Miracle Families, Thanksgiving got a little bit easier this year. On Saturday, November 18, volunteers gathered outside of The Pediatric Clinics in Prairie Village to give out over 200 baskets of uncooked, full Thanksgiving dinners to families served by CMN and KU Pediatrics at The University of Kansas Health System. Each basket was complete with; turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and green bean casserole ingredients to name a few. Each meal serves a family of four and makes the holidays a little bit easier for some well deserving families.
We would like to thank Crystal, her volunteers and the whole Traveling Turkeys crew who work tirelessly every year to make the Thanksgiving holiday a little easier for the families that we serve.
